I’m Edwina, and together with my husband Dion, we are proud to run our family party hire business located in the beautiful Western Bay of Plenty town of Katikati. Since moving to this wonderful community in 2008, we’ve poured our hearts into making a positive impact through our work and our active roles as coaches and managers in our children’s sports teams.
Through planning our own wedding for 250 guests and organising three of our five children’s 21st birthdays, we faced the overwhelming task of finding caterers, marquees, tables, chairs, and other essentials in Christchurch and Tauranga.
This journey inspired us to create a ‘one-stop shop’ that provides affordable hire equipment to make your event seamless.
We are dedicated to finding what you need, whether we have it available or not. If our prices aren't the best fit for your budget, we encourage you to choose someone who can meet your needs. Your experience is our top priority, and we want you to have the best possible event!

‘Ed and De Party Hire’ is Ed’s sixth baby, following her five children: Acacia, Dallas, Vanessa, Donovan, and DJ.
Ed is the driving force behind our operations, overseeing everything from meticulous planning and decision-making to quoting and ensuring seamless execution on the ground.
She is always by Dion’s side, making sure that every detail is attended to, ensuring that the marquees are safe, clean, and beautifully prepared for our clients.

SON | THE ‘NEEDED A JOB’ KID
Dj is our youngest child of 5. He is a no muck around young man. He can assemble our marquees with his eyes closed, he also knows how to add the final touches to our marquees just the way Mum likes it.
